2. The proposed rules add the requirement that individuals purchasing securities from such private investment funds must also qualify as an “accredited natural person,” which requires owning at least $2.5 million in investments.

3. These “investments” do not include the value of personal real estate or land held in connection with a place of business, but do include real estate held for investment purposes.
